PRODUCT TYPES
Curtain Types in Regular Bulk Production
Our long-term finished-curtain production includes six types.
- Blackout
- 190–300 gsm. Woven blackout fabrics typically 250–270 gsm; black-back fabrics around 300 gsm. Full blackout is achieved with coating, a black film backing or a blackout lining.
- Sheer
- 40–140 gsm. From light voile and net sheers to heavier linen-look and textured sheers; embroidered sheers around 110–120 gsm.
- Linen-look
- 80–140 gsm for linen-look sheers. Linen blends with 10–50% linen; lined blackout versions are heavier.
- Velvet
- 180–280 gsm, most often around 240 gsm. Full-blackout velvet up to 350 gsm.
- Jacquard
- 140–200 gsm, with 170–180 gsm for better-quality programs. About 50–60% light blocking as woven; full blackout with coating or a blackout lining.
- Printed
- Digital or rotary printing of the buyer's artwork, on sheer, brushed or blackout base fabrics; high-definition printed blackout around 210–220 gsm.
These categories can be developed in different colors, finished sizes, constructions, headings, linings and packaging configurations according to the order specification. Applicable OEKO-TEX certified fabrics can be supplied, with fabric test reports for applicable materials and orders.
CONSTRUCTION
Heading and Lining Options
A full range of common curtain heading styles can be produced according to buyer specifications. Regular lining capabilities include blackout lining and padded thermal lining for insulated curtain constructions.
Heading, lining and finished size are confirmed as part of the approved production specification.
BULK SCALE
Full-Container and Multi-Container Orders
Typical bulk business is produced at full-container scale, with multi-container programs also handled.
As a loading reference, a container may hold approximately 20,000 pieces of 140–160 gsm sheer curtains or approximately 17,000–18,000 pieces of curtain products using fabrics above 200 gsm.
Actual loading quantity depends on finished size, fabric weight, construction and packaging.
HOME TEXTILES
Consolidated with Curtains, or Ordered on Their Own
Retail programs sometimes combine curtains with coordinated home textiles in one shipment. Cushions, throws, bedding and table linens can be consolidated into the same container as a curtain order, or ordered on their own.
Xinlan inspects and packs them to the same label, barcode and carton requirements as the curtains before loading.

Approved samples and production files are retained after development.
These references help established buyers reproduce confirmed construction, sizing, labeling, packaging and other order details when placing repeat orders.
